Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I book a Rolling Video Games Party or Event?
A: You can always give us a call at 617-716-7529 or click any of the "BOOK NOW” buttons, which will take you to our booking request page. You simply fill the form out with the date and time for your party, and we will respond back to you as soon as possible, to let you know if your requested date/time is available. After that, we will send you a confirmation email, invoice and link to our liability waiver. Once you've submitted the $99 deposit and digitally signed the liability waiver, your booking will be secured.
Q: What days are your trucks in operation?
A: We operate 7 days a week and cater to all dates and times. Please call to schedule your event.
Q: What about bad weather?
A: Our mobile game theater can operate in all types of weather — we are climate controlled. As long as it is safe for us to drive and safe for the guests, we will be there.
Q: What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel a party?
A: Please notify us as soon as possible should you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation. We will make every effort to reschedule your party or event to another date or time.
Q: Do I have to pay for the party or event in advance?
A: Our reservations can fill up quickly. In order to secure your desired date and time, you will need to digitally sign our liability waiver and pay a $99 deposit, with the remaining balance due 7 days before your event.
Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
A: Our reservations can fill up quickly. We recommend booking at least 30 days ahead of your desired date/time. A valid credit or debit card is required to guarantee and pay for your event reservation.
Q: What if too many people show up to our party? Is there an extra charge?
A: Absolutely not. Our parties include 2 Game Coaches and are ideal for up to 24 people, but if you get some unexpected guests, we will do our best to keep them all engaged.
Q: How much space do I need?
A: Our drivers are excellent and can go nearly anywhere, as long as your driveway or street isn’t on a steep hill. We ask our customers to reserve 60 feet of space to give us plenty of room for parallel parking, if needed. Upon arrival, if safe parking isn't available, customers have the option of moving the event to a more suitable location nearby, such as a church, park or parking lot. We reserve the right to refuse to position our equipment in an area that could cause damage to a customer's property and/or Rolling Video Games of Massachusetts' property. We will make every effort to find a safe alternate location should this situation occur. Delays caused by clearing space for the truck and trailer will not prevent us from leaving at the scheduled time. We always plan to arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of your scheduled event to park and set up.
Q: Do I need a parking permit for the Mobile Video Game theater?
A: A permit is only required if we will need to park in a "No Parking" zone. Rolling Video Games of Massachusetts' equipment is no wider than any contractor or landscaping vehicle, and in most cases parking outside the home at the curb is no issue. If a parking permit is required, it will be the responsibility of the customer to arrange for one.
Q: Is there a minimum age recommendation?
A: Rolling Video Games parties are appropriate for ages 6 and older. Children under the age of 6 require supervision by a parent or guardian, while inside the mobile video game theater.
Q: Do parents need to supervise?
A: Rolling Video Games of Massachusetts does require a parent or responsible adult to be available at the party or event location. Parents are always welcome to join the party, but are not required to supervise unless there are children under the age of 6 at the party.
Q: What time will you be arriving?
A: We arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of your scheduled event, in order to set up.
