What Ages Are Game Truck Parties Best For?
Different age groups often enjoy different game styles. This guide highlights examples from younger-player titles through teen and adult tournament formats.
Ages 5–7: great, with the right games
Younger players often gravitate toward the lights, big screens, Mario Kart, Minecraft and Nintendo Switch party games. One professional Game Coach helps players get started and can rotate larger groups through stations.
Ages 8–12: the absolute sweet spot
This group may enjoy multiplayer and tournament formats. Capacity is up to 24 players: 16 inside and 8 outside on the two exterior screens. The two exterior screens are unavailable in rain, snow or other inclement weather, so plan around 16 when weather may limit them; larger groups can rotate.
Ages 13–17: harder to impress, easier than you think
Teens can choose games such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, Madden and 2K across the available screens. PSVR2 is available with bookings of two hours or longer. Tournament formats are another option — see our tournament parties.
Adults: yes, really
Corporate team building, college events, birthday parties for grown-up gamers, even wedding entertainment. Mario Kart brackets between coworkers get competitive fast. Details on corporate events here.
A note on VR
VR is available only for bookings two hours or longer.
Mixed-age parties (the secret superpower)
For a mixed group, multiple screens let players choose different games, and larger groups can rotate through stations.
